The heliport's base is polished and the landing area is duly painted and signalled in accordance with the Civil Aviation rules.
Prior to the steel fixing and concrete works of the concrete flagstone, the ground has been correctly prepared by removing brushwood and adding the necessary aggregate in order to produce a firm base on which to place the flagstone.
Beyond the exterior perimeter of the concrete flagstone a 20-40 gravel paving with an average width of 4,5 metres has been extended, delimiting thus the helicopter's landing and action area.
The works included the construction of a reinforced concrete platform with 7x4 metres exterior dimensions, following the same construction criteria of the aforesaid circular platform.
The civil works phase concludes with the foundation and the installation of a windsock and a signpost with the rules that must be observed at the facilities.
